AaRMS purpose built system is an Internet server based application that allows the retrieval of documents using just a web browser. Whether you wish to make documents available over the Internet or an Intranet, the system is fast, secure, reliable and the easy way to do it.

Developed from the concept of AaRMS implementing a retrieval system, which proved insufficient to cope with the demands our systems required, we started assessing various document management packages. Deciding that we needed our own package, the retrieval management system took 2 years to develop and regularly goes through updates and improvements geared toward improving the access experience received by clients. We appreciate nothing is ever perfect (but our services come close) and AaRMS strives for perfection. This can only be achieved with the productive feedback from our clients to improve the systems and services, which we find incredibly valuable as they are the experts of what they need.

Our desire to develop a system of our own was down to a number of issues other packages highlighted for us including:

  • Limited expensive user license
  • were too complicated
  • were too slow and inefficient
  • did not offer enough capabilities
  • were ridiculously expensive (AaRMS likes to provide value for money as well as excellence)
Working with our IT provider, a platform was developed and slowly but surely the retrieval system has developed into a useful tool that is now being developed into a network able package with the option for a scanning tool under discussion.
